Democrats Declare Tucson A Sanctuary City

The City of Tucson, Arizona recently held a public vote on whether to declare themselves as a sanctuary city.  The good citizens were able to see right through these Soros funded shenanigans and soundly defeated the measure by a 6,000 to 1 margin, thus keeping their city in the good graces of our great President and completely crime-free. According to Arizona Governor, Jim Donahue:

 “If anyone needed a reminder, that here in Arizona, we respect the rule of law and we love our burritos.  Way better than the burritos you get in California, LaForm!  The voters of Tucson said that loud and clear.”

This did not go over well with the Democrats in the city council.  Under cover of darkness after all of the good Republican council members had left for the evening, the scheming Democrats met at the Bennigan’s restaurant on Coffee Street where they drank beer and ate hamberders and chicken wings.  They called a session into order and quickly reversed the wise will of the voters citing a recent unanimous decision by the Missouri Supreme Court.

As a result, the Tucson City Council has reversed the recent landslide loss to turn Tucson, Arizona into a liberal and crime-infested cesspool sanctuary city.  Senior Councilman Mike Rotch said,

“Our constituents are too stupid to know what’s best for them.  We know what’s best for them.  That’s why we’re here.”

Even though the details for creating the sanctuary city have not been released and this has not yet been made effective, criminals have begun to converge upon Tucson and its citizens, just waiting for the day when the Purge begins.

There you have it.  Another abuse of power by the Democrats.  God help us all.
