President Trump Initiates Removal Of Romney From Republican Party

Romney has never been a true Republican. Some have called him a RINO – a Republican In Name Only – but even that is inaccurate. More and more often he has shown himself to be a true blue liberal Democrat.

When Romney voted to convict President Trump on the charge of abuse of power, he cemented this view. With that vote, he separated himself from the rest of the party. He became ostracized and nobody wants him in their ranks anymore.

This show of disloyalty has prompted President Trump to take an unprecedented action against the senator. Proceedings have been initiated under Republican National Committee Rule Number 42B to have Senator Romney removed from the party.

Rule 42B reads as follows:

“Within the ranks of our party, members are to support their own. Should such a circumstance occur where a person amongst us does not follow this procedure and strays, thereby causing a loss of confidence in his abilities from fellow members, that person shall be removed. This effort can only be undertaken at the behest of a president at such time when the president is of our party. Action will be swift, a vote will be taken amongst remaining Republicans in Congress and removal would come forthwith.”

This is only the second time that this action has been taken in American history. The previous occurrence was in 1897 when President William McKinley ousted Senator Joseph P Barron of California for putting the moves on his charming wife, Susan. McKinley stated at the time that, “Barron is a man that can no longer be trusted by anyone in the Republican Party. His lechery has made that clear.” Barron was ejected by a unanimous vote as many other congressmen had similar experiences with the Senator.

Trump’s motion is expected to go to a vote next week. It is highly unlikely that there will be any dissent. The draining of the swamp continues.
