PBS stations in conservative areas of America are pulling Sesame Street off their stations after the creators of Sesame Street put out tweets in support of Pride Month. According to the local affiliates, who are based in the south and the Midwest, they can’t in good conscience run programming geared to children that has sexualized connotations attached.

This is not the Sesame Street of the past, even as problematic as it was even then. It used to be programming geared to children to teach them reading and math, sometimes sprinkled with liberal indoctrination, but now it’s gotten blatant.

“This is akin to grooming” says southern affiliate in Florida Joseph Barron. “This message of inclusivity is pushing pushed down the throats of people who just don’t believe in it, and it’s gone too far now. It’s always gone too far, but this is just plain liberal indoctrination and we’re done with it”

When asked what they’ll replace the iconic children’s show with, Barron said they’re looking into options like the veggie tales, a Christian children’s show that’s completely unwatchable. Dancing and singing vegetables that extol Christian values is totally not indoctrination.

They should just leave our kids alone. Telling children that other types of people exist that we don’t like is a bridge too far. It started with races. Then classes. Now this.  It’s disgusting.

America is a Christian Caucasian nation. And that’s that. Enough is enough. The one street our kids won’t ever be on is Sesame Street. You’ve gone too far Elmo. God bless America and protect the children!
