In a bold move to punish Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for her bogus impeachment of President Donald Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has slapped her with an order to pay $50 million back to the hardworking taxpayers of the United States.
“Speaker Pelosi knew from the beginning that her little impeachment charade would go nowhere. She did it after she lost a drinking game with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and had to do whatever the young communist told her to do. Now, she’s paying the price, literally. She is hereby ordered to repay $50 million to the United States, payable in one lump sum, due on Friday,” said McConnell.
McConnell’s office sent a letter to Speaker Pelosi, demanding that she deliver a check to him, in person, on Friday, with cameras rolling and shady news organizations present. Mitch means business, and his business is humiliating Nancy Pelosi.
“She victimized Donald Trump, the best president in the history of our country, with her lies and bogus investigations. All those witnesses who testified under oath lied, too. So did the whisteblower who started this whole thing. All she had to do was accept that a little bit of quid pro quo is OK when your initials are DJT. But no, she had to uphold her oath of office like some kind of 80-year-old Girl Scout,” McConnell continued.
Pulitzer Prize-winning political reporter Sandy Batt attempted to reach Speaker Pelosi’s office for comment, but she was rebuffed by spokesman Joe Barron. “We have no comment about this egregious abuse of power, which might make for good TV but is in no way allowed by the Constitution.”
It remains to be seen if Speaker Pelosi will show up in McConnell’s office with a check for $50 million, payable to the taxpayers of the United States.
