Recently, the National Basketball Association announced that they will not return to playing until President Donald Trump resigns or the first day of the next President’s administration if he is voted out of office. The National Hockey League and Major League Baseball verbally agreed to the same.
The National Football League has stayed out of this madness until now when Commissioner Roger Cline Goodell officially declared that not only will they not return to the field until Trump is out of office; they want the $3 back that Trump won from the USFL settlement in 1986.
Much the same as the NBA, the NFL held a secret vote prior to the 2019 season. NFL union head Joe Barron, the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback of the Orlando Breakers, described the process.
“It was pretty simple. We consulted with the NBA’s representative – Art Tubolls of the Washington Generals. We put forth the same questionnaire. Our league, like the NBA, is full of a bunch of wannabe actors, rappers, country singers, and reality TV stars. You’ve seen Hard Knocks? They all want their 15 minutes. Anyway, the vote came in overwhelmingly in favor of suspending operations because if there’s one thing they hate more than they love money, it’s Donald Trump.”
Most true patriots weren’t watching the NFL anyway, with all the kneeling and the police hating. Most people won’t even know the league is gone and those that do aren’t going to care, just like they don’t care about the NBA ceasing operations. Once again, another set of millionaire babies are in for a rude wake-up. Wanna keep them away? Vote straight red this fall!
