While Obama was in the White House, his family was a model of support. His wife and daughters were in perfect agreement with all of his decisions. They always seemed to fall in line. One had to wonder if that perfect alignment was reality or an act. If they ever did disagree with the Obama husband and father, they never showed it publicly.
Now that his presidency is over, some differences of opinion have begun to surface, mainly from the Obama children, Malia and Sasha. Not long ago, Malia expressed public support for Trump’s handling of our current crisis, even going as far as saying that her father would not have known what to do. Now she’s disagreeing with dad once again.
While her father is encouraging Americans to continue to remain in lockdown, leading a dreary life devoid of all meaning, President Trump is encouraging citizens to live their lives again, to get out of their homes and go to work, visit friends and family, or have a nice meal at a local restaurant. As it turns out, the elder Obama daughter wants out too.
In a recording of a phone call between Malia and her boyfriend that we absolutely did not illegally record or anything, the young Obama says she is tired of staying inside and has had enough.
“I am so sick of this! Why is dad telling people to keep this up? We’ll all go crazy!
I miss you so much. This Skype business just isn’t cutting it anymore. I’m tired of helping myself out. I need the real thing and you know it has to be from you.
Trump is right. America needs to open up again, even if it’s only so I can get some pipe and a haircut. I need a haircut!”
Trump’s vision for the Americas is getting support from everyone, even fictitiously from his most vocal opposition. One can almost hear the rumbling of the landslide victory he will have in the election in November.
