We finally know what Joe Manchin wants. The moderate Democrat from West Virginia, who must call a Republican in disguise, wants Joe Biden gone.
According to sources inside Manchin’s office, he believes the President is hurting the country and his party, and he’s willing to trade the filibuster to fix it.
Manchin’s top aide, Art Tubolls, told us in an exclusive interview that Manchin is serious:
“He’s dead serious. He says if Biden promises not to run again, the filibuster will be done for, and the Republican party can kiss itself goodbye.”
With the filibuster gone, Democrats will be able to pass their voting rights act, spend trillions on windmills, solar panels, and electric cars, grant statehood to Puerto Rico and DC, and expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices.
If they manage to do all of that, the country will never be the same. Minority rule will be gone forever, and we will no longer be able to force the winds of change back from whence they came, If we want our country to remain in the 1960s, patriots, we need people like Joe Manchin.
He and he alone will be able to get rid of Biden.
