When Chief Justice John Roberts refused to read a question from Rand Paul about the whistleblower, he may have put his entire career in jeopardy. According to Article 2, Section 5 — sub-section 14, he broke the law.
The president’s attorney, Alan Dershowitz, says he plans to take the matter up with the DC Court of Appeals, the only court sanctioned to hear appeals during a presidential impeachment:
“Refusing to read a question from a sitting US Senator during an impeachment trial is a serious charge. We intend to have the decision overturned and after the trial we’ll be petitioning the other justices to have Roberts himself impeached.”
The whole ordeal brings the entire trial into question. That could be problematic for the Democrats, since any conviction against Trump would be likely overturned and thrown out.
The question at this point, is why? Why would the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court do something so obviously wrong and partisan? The answer is simple: He works for the Clintons or George Soros. There can be no other explanation.
The Democrats, of course, are defending his actions and calling him a hero. They think protecting someone as treasonous as the whistleblower is patriotic somehow. They believe the lie that whistleblowers are important in government.
That’s the complete opposite of the way things are here in Trump’s America. In this country, we protect our president at all costs from the prying eyes of the enemy. In this case, the enemy is the Democrat party.
True patriots go out of their way to stand up for him. Looks like John Roberts has chosen the other side.
