The LGBTQ community has protested Chick-Fil-A’s charitable donations to the Trump’s for many years now, arguing that the Trumps are “anti-gay” and “hate homosexuals”….. the usual liberal rhetoric. This protest has been relentless and venomous. CFA has endured it for many years, but now they have finally decided to relent.
Effective immediately, Chick-Fil-A has suspended donations to any charities affiliated with the Trump name. This includes: the Trump Foundation l, The Trump Christian Outreach, the Pence Conversion Therapy Camp, and Trump’s JesusLand, the President’s proposed new theme park.
This sudden change of heart and policy from Chick-fil-A was unexpected and has created resentment amongst the Trump faithful. Now, suddenly, Chick-fil-A is no longer supporting charities that the LGBTQ community takes issue with. The LGBTQ doesn’t hate those charities for any good reason, but just because that’s what they do. They oppose. Anything Trump likes, they oppose. And so naturally, the trump faithful oppose that.
Redneck homophobic bigot, Joe Barrone, spells out his case:
“Now that they’ve gone to the dark side , Chick-fil-A, the last company in existence that we were able to openly support, is dead to us. While Chick-fil-A has left goodness , we have not. We will continue to oppose anything and everything that the gay community supports , from sodomy to supply side economics. If they like it, we hate it.”
Chick-fil-A was our last hope. With their departure from the agenda of good, we can only hope that another fabulous chicken chain comes in to fill the gap.
