According to a report by the Dunning-Kruger Times, Joe Biden reportedly called Vietnam POWs cowards to a private donor. He made these remarks as he was hosting a fundraiser to raise money for the Islamic Cultural Institute of Maryland.
One of the attendees, Joe Barron, asked Biden a very pertinent question. Biden was asked what he thought about soldiers that got captured in the Vietnam War. Biden’s response was stunning and caught on an open mic:
“Alright, listen here Jack, I don’t care much about these phony dog-faced pony-soldiers that get captured. I prefer soldiers that don’t surrender. You know, like the Japanese back in the day. Never surrender they would say. That’s what we need in this country. You fight to the death, anything less is cowardice. Don’t be a coward like ol’ Cornpop. I don’t like that guy.”
When the crowd heard this, they rabidly clapped and cheered with such ferocity seldom seen at a normal fundraising luncheon. It was truly stunning to see these people cheer Biden’s disregard for POWs that were captured fighting for their country. It’s not all that’s surprising though, considering the un-American crowd he was speaking to.
Biden was equally as surprised, as he thought his comments were private, even though he was in front of 1,000 people.
We can’t have a President that shows such disdain for our veterans. We need a President that respects our troops. That President is Donald Trump. He respects our military, never puts down on POWs, and honors gold star families. He is truly a President sent by the good Lord above and we must vote for him again in November.
