In a now-familiar pattern of obstruction and attempts at denying Americans their constitutional rights, such as those enshrined in the first and second amendments, Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, are trying to deprive Americans of yet another constitutional right, this time in the form of the 25th amendment.
The fight over the 25th amendment involves Section 3, which the president has the right to invoke himself, and Section 4, which would require the support of the Senate. Both Pelosi and Schumer have said they would block any attempt to invoke either.
Asked for comment, White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McAninny was adamant about the president’s rights:
“This president has always been a strong supporter of the 25th amendment, or any amendment for that matter.
We will not bow down to the radical far left and stand idly by while they trample all over the constitution. As soon as President Trump found out about these latest shenanigans perpetrated by the Democrats, he vowed to take executive action. We will not let them get away with it, just as we have stopped them from trampling on other constitutional rights.
Like, I might be a blonde, but I’m not stupid. Even I can see through what they’re trying to do. We will take this fight all the way to the Supreme Court if need be.”
Asked to respond to McAninny’s comments, Pelosi Spokesman Joe Barron was nonchalant:
“Well, it looks like we have them right where we want them. It is a well known fact that this president is an infantile imbecile. A rebel without a clue, so to speak. Over time we have learned that he always does the exact opposite of what we want, without thinking about the consequences. So let’s just say we’ve learned our lesson.”
