The four elected Congressional Representatives known as “The Squad” — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley — have just sent shockwaves through Washington, DC, with their budget proposal for the next fiscal year.
They submitted it using Arabic numerals! That’s right, Arabic numerals, right here in the United States of America!
No one even paid attention to the content of the budget proposals, which included horrible socialist things like healthcare for all Americans, a cost of living adjustment for Social Security recipients, a cash infusion for the United States Postal Service, and money to pay for the November 2020 election.
Of course, everyone ignored the substance and focused on the treason at hand — using Arabic numerals in a Christian* nation is absolutely ghastly.
You know what else this Arabic-numerals laden budget proposed? Extra funding on education — which is sorely needed if anyone actually gets their knickers in a twist over Arabic numerals. Instead of frothing at the mouth about 9/11 and terrorism and other ridiculous things that have NOTHING to do with Arabic numerals, take a breath and ask Google what an Arabic numeral is.
