While American citizens are in desperate need of their government’s help to guide them through this crisis, Democrats aren’t thinking about our needs at all. The well-being of Americans is the absolute last thing on their minds and they proved that for the zillionth time today.
“The Squad,” Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and the other one, made more demands upon President Trump and the federal government’s money today, but not for Americans. Instead, the four are fighting for the illegal immigrants in ICE custody, who they want to be taken out of where they are presently being held and given new homes in $300/night luxury hotel rooms in order to “quarantine” them.
Perpetual troublemaker Ilhan Omar gave a long-winded speech explaining their position:
“Look, we need to take care of these people. These hotels aren’t being used currently, so why not use them to stop the spread of this plague? It only makes sense. If we help stop the spread, it helps us all. Now is not the time to seek petty revenge against immigrants that you think stole your terrible job that they wouldn’t want anyway.”
Republican Joe Barron responded:
“These people aren’t Americans! Let them rot! So what if the plague spreads. It’s not like it can infect us real Americans anyway. This is just a Democrat plot to help these illegals escape into our society.”
Typical Democrats, thinking only about themselves. They need to be impeached for their indifference to the plight of Americans.
