Senate Republicans have drafted legislation to be added to the constitution of the United States to keep Trump as president past 2024, sources say.
They are trying to use the same powers they did in the 1940s that kept Franklin D. Roosevelt as president for a third term.
They’re reasoning is because of the pandemic, unrest, and other ongoing situations in America, voters should be able to keep Trump as president because he alone can fix this.
Trump has floated the idea for years, after his unfair treatment at the hands of Democrats trying to impeach him. Now the idea is gaining steam and traction with senate republicans, and house republicans are also falling in love with the idea.
Trump has done so much good in the last four years, he should remain president as long as he can or wants to. It would be a big boost to our country if we could keep the man who made us great.
The problem is the constitution, and those pesky democrats as well. The constitution says a president may only serve two terms. But it’s been done before with Franklin D. Roosevelt, and it can be done again.
The great strife and issues our country faces, changing presidents would be counterproductive, and since Trump has been saving our nation, it only makes sense to keep him there.
Democrats are another challenge. They don’t see how good it’s been with Trump in power.
Sure, he’s screwed up the response to the pandemic, ignored the fires, stoked racial hatred, tried to buy Greenland, and told people to inject lights up their asses, but what was the Democrats’ idea? Science??? This is no time for common sense or practical solutions.

When constitutional scholar Joseph Barron was questioned on the republicans’ idea to keep Trump as president past 2024, his response was “How in the hell is he even going to make it past 2020??”
Barron understands that common sense or any constitutional law matters not to the cultists who worship at the alter of Trump. But what does he know?
He only has studied the constitution for 40 years and Trump literally tries to set it on fire every other week. Here’s to hoping common sense prevails.
