Richard Nixon’s Son : ‘Trump Should Step Down.’

Proporting to be dispensing a little advice from someone directly in the know, former President Richard Nixon’s son made headlines last weekend when he told a radio show host that, like his similarly impeached father, President Trump should simply admit his guilt and step down from his position before a trial and formal criminal charges could be organized.

Morton “Mojo” Nixon, 68, is an activist and musician who, until now, hasn’t been vocal about the Trump Presidency or the impeachment proceedings dominating the news cycle recently, but cited his real-life experience in the subject from having a father who went through it all on the Sandy Batt Radio show Friday morning :

“They had all kinds of things on my dad.  And they were right, you know.  He was kind of a terrible person.  A lot like Trump.  You know, racist, stupid, and totally arrogant enough to think the law didn’t apply to him.  So, he resigned his Presidency before America made him, you know, toss the salad.  I mean, Trump’s a big man, you know?  He’d do a lot worse in prison than my dad would have.  End up as someone’s bean bag chair.  Or a Plastic Pony.  That’s what they call it in the joint when guys fill plastic garbage bags with towels and ride them…well, you get it.  Plastic pony.  Trump should step down before he gets saddled.”

Nixon went on to describe his father’s relatively good life in shameful obscurity until his death, and suggested that President Trump could have a similar experience, perhaps retiring into a private suite in one of his hotels until he could properly wither away in cold seclusion.

“Take it from me,” he nodded.  “Sometimes the easy way out is the best way.”
