Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said some pretty wild things. She’s claimed that Carbon Dioxide isn’t a harmful gas and yet she still goes on and on about global warming. Last month she proposed a nationwide ban on motorcycles because of the “safety risks” involved.
Now, she wants to place restrictions on people who drive a semi for a living:
“Private truck drivers are destroying America. They get like 4 miles to the gallon, they think they own the road and they throw bottles of pee out their windows so they can keep driving. It’s a barbaric industry. Trucks should all be government regulated and drivers should be on full-time camera until we can figure out how to automate our shipping and do away with them altogether.”
AOC maintains that of the 400K people who die on our roadways each year, more than 80 percent can be attributed to trucks. Apparently, she pulled those numbers from her pooper, because she’s not even close.
What’s more, trucks and truckers contribute more to the economy than any other subset. Without them, we wouldn’t have any food, clothing, building materials, or MAGA hats. This woman is, essentially, nuttier than a fruitcake.
When will it end? At what point will the Democrats see what we see? They certainly don’t seem to care about all her craziness. They like a minority woman who asks tough questions and isn’t afraid of the men running the country. They think she’ll be a force of nature when really we’ll just call her names like “nasty” and “emotional” and claim she’s unhinged. It’s an effective strategy we’ve used for 100 years. Why change now?

if you’re a life long trucker like I am… and you had ALSO spent your whole entire career being Safe, Responsible, Respectable and Dependable while consistantly maintaining an EXCELLENT, accident and incident free record… Then you too have got to be getting fed up with all of these new safety rules and regulations as well as all of these highly unsafe, unbearable and overly distracting new technology that is constantly being thought of and forced upon us all by the very same people who have never once driven a truck a day in their lives for themselves.
These people who are constantly thinking of all these new outrageous safety rules and regulations as well as constantly installing all of these truck mounted devices, gadgets, cameras, buzzers, sirens and flashing lights that do nothing at all but distract us all while we’re trying to drive have absolutely no idea that they are creating more “Safety Hazards” and “Distractions” for us driver’s than anything else.
It seems like every other day there’s another early morning conference call we need to wake ourselves up to make or some extremely long, mandatory safety test we have to fill out on line while on OUR time or there’s another loud and annoying device being added to our trucks that interferes with our ability to stay focused on our driving.
Not only is this becoming more and more of a pain in the backside … But it is becoming more obvious that this is solely intended to get more and more of us driver’s irritable, annoyed and fed up enough to where we either want to quit over it or soon be fired for not wanting to comply with it any longer.
Quite frankly… No one in their right mind stays up all night thinking of new ways to make it more miserable and more time consuming for people unless they had a reason or some agenda for it.
If however the government was so concerned about our safety and the safety of others… Then they wouldn’t let all these clueless and knowledgeless newbies to ever be allowed to be put in a truck by themselves and let them loose out on the roads after just 3 days of learning how to drive on an “Automatic” Truck at some second hand driving school as well as allowing COUNTLESS of uneducated and highly unamerican immigrants who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing or where they’re going and for whom can’t even speak our language or read the street signs to ALSO be allowed to be put in these over sized vehicle themselves.
These are the very people who are causing all the problems and accidents as well as all the safety issues out there but no-one wants to talk about that reality because God forbid… The TRUTH and the FACTS may just start hurting people’s FEELINGS.
I know safety is very important for us all out there… but to start categorising all of us safe, spotless and overly experienced truckers who have been doing this for most of our lives with these clueless newbies and these non English speaking immigrants that know absolutely nothing about being a professional driver is highly unfair and unprofessional and is creating anger, anxiety, stress, high blood pressure and resentment for the rest of us which indeed is a major safety hazard in itself.
Ok… Well… now with that all finally out of the way… it’s time to discuss “WHY” the democratic law makers are doing all of this for and why they’re letting all of these inexperienced and uneducated people to be allowed to sit behind the wheel of these big rigs for in the first place.
You see… shortly after that unthinkable idea that “Driverless Trucks” and “Artificial Intelligence” had started to become possible and then rapidly became more and more of a reality… Greedy companies and money hungry corporations decided it would be more beneficial to them and much better for their own “Bottom Line” if they could simply start replacing, discarding and eliminating us “People” with this highly advanced technology instead.
While the democratic government embraces all of this artificial intelligence because it keeps putting more and more people out of work and it gets more and more people desperate enough to start relying on and bowing down to their overly controlling government… they know they have to create problems and accidents to get people to believe that all this technology is NEEDED and that alone is the only reason to why they are flooding our roads with these clueless people for and are using them to increase the accidents and death rates in order to help achieve their own goals.
The bottom line is this…
All this sudden and overly extensive push for “Safety” has absolutely nothing to do with safety at all… They are only using that as their excuse to limit the amount of truck drivers and truck traffic which will quickly help to benefit and speed up their “Socialism” agenda.
They know that with less and less trucks on the road… It will rapidly lead to higher prices of goods as well as a much higher shortage of goods overall.
The democrats will use the “Safety” lie the same way they use their “Climate change” lie in order to get people to believe they should give up their jobs, their rights, their protection, their freedoms, their privacy and their necessities in exchange for a “Cleaner” and “Safer” planet.
They won’t be happy until we are all equally broke, miserable and unarmed and waiting in very long lines just to obtain a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk.
I have been pulling piggy back trailers for one of the biggest shipping companies in the world.
Within the last three years… All the manual trucks have been replaced with automatics, they have all been dropped down to 65 miles per hour, they have all been equipped with cameras and road reading technology… and now… the only thing that many companies are waiting for is to get the green light to eliminate us people (for whom they have to pay) and replace us all with these trucks that drive themselves.
You see… Computers, modern technology and artificial intelligence had already put countless of people out of work and numberous companies out of business.
The next thing on the chopping block is us truckers.
Anyone who continues to embrace this technology is turning their back on their fellow man.
It is us “People” who have bills to pay and families to feed… “Artificial intelligence” does not.
I feel that if all of us truckers don’t come together soon and start hanging up our keys in retaliation to boycott and protest this… Then we will continue to be bombarded with more and more unbearable rules and regulations right up until the time that we too will inevitably become statistics ourselves.
This technology has already long been here.
If you’re one of those people who believe that this will never happen in our lifetime… Then you are just fooling yourself.
I have been a trucker for over 30 years.
I, myself never once believed this all could happen until I had seen it for myself.
It’s no surprise why they want us all to quit or to be fired for not going along with all of their unbearable nonsense for… Because they know deep down that if us life long truckers like myself (for whom helped build this country and helped build their companies) start getting laid off for this “Artificial intelligence” and these trucks that drive themselves… They know they won’t be able to escape the clutches of “Karma”.
All the money in the world won’t be able to save them from what us “Stabbed in the Back” truckers have got in mind for them all and they know it.
They have the technology as well as their much anticipated agendas… They just need us truckers to disappear in order to implement them.
While the media has got mostly all Americans mesmerized with stupid witch hunts against Donald Trump along with how many genders there should be… no one wants to talk about this major issue which in fact is the most important one of all.
Because quite frankly… When the overly fed up truckers turn their backs, hang up their keys and walk away… and when the “Driverless Truck” idea fails miserably… America stops, stores will no longer be stocked and hungry and highly desperate people will start rioting, looting, panicking and turning on eachother for their own survival.
It is time for people to stop listening to the democrats and worrying about their big “Climate Change” LIE and start being more concerned about the future of us truckers and the trucking industry instead… Because in all actuality… what is soon to happen to us and this industry is certainly NO LIE whatsoever and is truly the biggest threat to us ALL.
