Netflix, the streaming giant, has angered its customers in the past with questionable shows and decisions. Now, they’re going for broke. Netflix, for some reason that only they know, is rebooting the classic hit show “The Dukes Of Hazzard” with an all black cast. This is like the Little Mermaid all over again. Netflix, go woke, go broke.
Not only is it an all black cast taking over in the Dukes of Hazzard reboot, but the theme song and classic bluegrass music is being replaced by hip hop and rap music. Netflix is going so far as to not even have the classic Dodge Charger. And yes, the Confederate Flag will not be on the roof of the car. Talk about erasing history and changing a classic.
The General Lee won’t be a Dodge Charger anymore. It will be a Toyota Supra, and Boss Hogg’s white Cadillac convertible will be replaced with a Tesla. Netflix is taking everything great and making it a woke hellscape. This is craziness and if it works, they’ll be taking other classics and refreshing them into some shows for young people who appreciate nothing.
Long time Dukes fan Joe Barron was sickened by it. “How dare they? Now I can’t even sit with my cousinwife and enjoy some cigarettes and cold beer after a nascar race. He was so mad he threw his commemorative Dale Earnhardt hubcap through his trailer window that was covered with an old dirty sheet. He was so angry he almost couldn’t finish his fish sticks.
If this wokeness crap continues, good old patriotic conservative Americans won’t have anything left. No beer, no stores to shop at, no shoes, nothing. They’ll be thrust into the dark ages, where coincidentally they believe would be the perfect period to live in. Let’s hope the best for them. God Bless America.
