One of CMT’s biggest advertisers has pulled out. MyPillow, led by ultra patriot Mike Lindell, has pulled all advertising from Country Music Television.

MyPillow was one of the biggest advertisers on CMT and has been for years, knowing that CMT had an audience that was patriotic and wanted comfortable pillows.

Mike Lindell,CEO of MyPillow said that “while it pains me to do this, as we’ve been partners with CMT for a very long time, what they did to Jason Aldean was wrong”. The company had been advertising with CMT for 20 years.

MyPillow is an American company based in Minnesota, where CMT has a huge audience. Nothing like hearing the twangs of southern culture while digging into a meal of lutefisk and lefsa when it’s 32 below zero with the wind blowing.

Ahh Minnesota. Come for the atmosphere and stay because it’s too cold for your car to start.

Joe Barron, spokesman for MyPillow said that CMT was going against the values of MyPillow by pulling Jason Aldean’s music videos. “We believe in thinly veiled racism covered in simplistic country music while claiming real America when we’re anything but”. At least we’re being honest here.

Why MyPillow would pull advertising when they’re struggling financially is no mystery. With Lindell back on coke and spending millions on election conspiracy theories, MyPillow needs all the help it can get. God bless America.
