It’s a balmy May morning in the central city area of Queefport, Wyoming. The beautiful horizon of mountainous majesty rises high into your vision in every direction, bringing the mind into the setting of cowboy serials and old wide-angle historical screen vistas where a light wind blows behind strangers heading into town.
The Sandy Batt Cafe sits just inside the city proper, a local dive with good coffee and interesting conversation, newly painted, I’m told by a smiling waitress, with the help of the latest “Biden check”. Sitting across from me at an outdoor table is one of the critics of those checks, Republican Representitive Liz Cheney.
Recently ousted from her position by a cult-indoctrinated GOP unable to break free from slurping Donald Trump’s ball bag, Cheney, the granddaughter of film star Lon Cheney, dishes bravely about the party that made her a pariah.
“They’re basically letting the lunatic fringe take over the asylum,” she says, sipping her mocha and wiping sand off her bagel. “I mean, when you’re in a murderous cult, you don’t know you’re in a murderous cult.”
I ask her to expand on that outlook.
“As it is, you have trumpers too stupid to understand the election wasn’t ‘rigged’ and they lost. You have Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is crazier than a shithouse rat and twice as dumb. That bitch gonna get booted in her gunt and deserve it.”
Whatever poor Kenny is selling here likely is getting him some great phone calls. He should probably just concentrate on Project Fupa.
“Look what side the GOP and it’s glassy-eyed parade of morons take for every issue. Derek Chauvin? ‘We support the murderer.’ Kyle Rittenhouse? Same. They always cheer for the side of murder, death, and destruction. I won’t associate with that anymore.”
