Just this week, Postal security officers finished a year-long investigation into a sordid affair, concerning a charitable scheme to collect money from brave and patriotic old people in order to use it for a matter of national concern. If that description leads you to picture the Clinton Foundation and some long-debunked pay-for-play myth, then you might be sitting in a La-Z-boy watching Fox News and masturbating to a Trump interview.
The actual story concerns Trump ally and professional scumbag Steve Bannon getting in on a scam with life-long fraud and American turncoat Brian Kolfage. The two brainstormed a “fund” they told millions of gullible twatburgers would buy them a giant cartoon wall stretching across the bottom of the country.
Despite the fact that the idea is dumber than a scene from a Wile E. Coyote feature, many fell for it, and are now eating dog food while the “Don’t Care Man” Airman used their precious socialist retirement checks to buy a yacht. It’s a lot like watching baby seals eagerly crawl towards a batting cage.
Joe Barron of the American Sucker Society says that Kolfage in particular has a history of propagating nonsense to benefit himself monetarily. He claims that Trump supporters will literally believe anything at all as long as it suits their pre-conceived desires and fantasies.
Kolfage and Bannon ripping off people for their own benefits isn’t a surprise. The two real interesting points are one, that they actually got caught, and two, that there are agents of the Postal service that can make arrests. I totally didn’t know that. It’s a good thing I leave my mailman a good tip and a bag of weed every Christmas.
