Democrats are simply impeachment happy. Not content with just going after the president, they want to impeach every Republican in Congress, from the highest ranking, like Mitch McConnell, to the lowest peon gofer, like Benza Cox Lance. It seems they feel impeachment is the only way for them to gain control.
The latest target is congressman Devin Nunes, who they say was implicated in an elaborate Ukrainian quid pro quo scheme through an interview on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show and her interview with Lev Parnas. The accusations of Parnas have been thoroughly debunked, yet the Democrats persist.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, of course, is leading the charge. She has already created a team of investigators to dig up more dirt on Nunes and bring the impeachment proceedings to order within the week.
Pelosi had this to say about that:
“That guy on that show….you know, that show with the guy with the girl’s name-Rachel. Anyway, the guy that was on there the other night, I think his name was Dave. Dave Lardass. He said that Devin Nunes was right in the thick of things. That Nunes helped to put it all together. What reason could I possibly have not believe him?
Nunes is as guilty as the president. He will go down in flames with Trump. The attack begins. Take 20 steps back, turn, and fire. Let the games begin.”
Nancy’s statement is clearly unhinged. This is typical of the Democrat platform. Nothing they do makes sense.
