Oliver Anthony, who right now has the hottest country song in the country right now has been avoiding Fox News. He’s a Tucker Carlson fan. But at a recent event, a Fox News reporter cornered him into giving them an interview.
This was ambush journalism. Mr Anthony has rejected their requests several times, but since the reporter got him there, he thought he’d answer questions. And what Fox did was inexcusable and why he’d been avoiding Fox News.
They made him sound like a liberal. They edited his comments and cut up tape to make him sound like he was on the left, when he’s anything but the left. In other words, Fox News tried to end his momentum because he won’t go on their channel.
The Fox News reporter asked him questions on where he saw the country and what could change. They left his answers when he said “This country won’t last another generation unless we change course.” But when asked about diversity, Fox edited his comments. It was disgusting.
They claimed he said “Our diversity makes us stronger” while showing pictures of trans women and black men. They tried to make him a liberal. They are trying to destroy him. Joe Barron, a Fox viewer and Oliver Anthony fan couldn’t believe it. “I thought he was for us!” He screamed, waving a rebel flag while holding his cousin Bobbie Jo tightly.
Country music fans have been rallying around Oliver Anthony since his mega hit was released. Now evil forces on the left are trying to destroy his momentum. And trust us, Fox is on the left. Look what they’ve done to Trump and Tucker.
Whether or not he actually said it, which he did, the right wing will run with something to pretend the only people that exist are white conservative Christians. Because it’s you who’s persecuted. Only you. We know. God bless America.
