Three Blue States Lower Voting Age To 13

New York, California, and Illinois are all set to pass new federal voting age regulations in their states……to 13.

Their reasons are ludicrous. Governor Newsom of California tried to reason that 13 was the “age of manhood” in many parts of the world and so teenagers should be treated as such. He went on :

“Throughout history, in most of the world, Europe included, when boys reached the age of 12 or 13, they were considered men and were given all the responsibilities of manhood. This was so for centuries. Our ancestors knew that this was an age when one could make sound decisions for their communities.

Why did this stop? When did we decide to coddle these young men for 5 more years? it’s nonsensical to have done so. Our forefathers built nations with their knowledge.

And so, it’s time to bring these traditions back. Starting with the Presidential election next year, young men and women of 13 years will be eligible to vote in our three states. This is an old idea whose time has come again.”

This is an obvious ploy to steal the election from President Trump. These children will be under their liberal parent’s influence and will vote their wishes. This must be appealed and reversed.
