Greed is what rules the Democrat Party. Pure, unapologetic greed. While good and pure people like President Trump go into public service out of a sense of duty and loyalty and to help bring about the betterment of mankind, democrats enter the forum to line their pockets.
This selfishness was on full display again today as the House Democrats, led by Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, unanimously passed a $75000 pay raise. Nancy spoke:
“We members of Congress have been paid a pittance for far too long. Why are we paid so much less than the President? It hardly seems fair. We work ten times as hard as he does yet we work for peanuts. Trump makes $400K to sit around on his fat ass between golf trips. Screw That. We’re getting ours.
So today we gave each of ourselves a raise. That we deserve it can’t be disputed. And yes, there will be more to come. Incremental raises, they’re called. Every 3 months another tiny bump like this one. Finally we’ll be paid properly for all the hard work we do”
This is an outrage. Never mind the fact that President Trump is working for free, donating every pay check to government services that are lacking in sufficient funding to maintain functionality, the democrats do nothing at all except block republican bills. And that’s not work.
