Here in America, we respect the sacrifices our veterans have made in service of our country. We honor them for their courage in facing the horrors of war.
But Democrats see them differently. What we see as brave heroes, they view only as tools to be used and cast aside. This was demonstrated once again by prominent leftist, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as she offered her thoughts on the plight of those soldiers who return home damaged by what they witnessed, resulting in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
“Why does the right spend so much time thinking about these guys? They don’t really care. It’s just show. Even the President thinks they’re nothing. That’s why he feels they join the military. They’re not smart enough for anything else. They’re simple, you know? That’s Trump’s mind. I’ve given this some thought. This is what I think Trump thinks of our troops:
‘The better ones can be used repeatedly as the weapons they are. They lack the emotional complexity to feel remorse or sympathy. Those ones he appreciates even to some degree.
But then there are the others. The ones that claim ‘PTSD’ or ‘shell shock’ or whatever the hell you want to call it. Basically, war made them sad. Or scared. They are the weak ones. Not even useful enough for brainless army jobs.’
Again, none of these are my thoughts. They are what one can assume Trump thinks based on his words and actions toward the military. He thinks they’re zeroes, not heroes.”
Obviously, these absolutely are her own thoughts. She said as much at the beginning when she said, ”This is what I think.”
