Texas AG Ken Paxton and Governor Greg Abbott are steaming mad, and it’s not just the Texas heat. They were given a screening of the “Barbie” movie and can’t believe this is a children’s movie. The state of Texas is looking at legal remedies to stop all showings immediately.

The controversy came about when several conservative commentators had watched the movie and were appalled at what they had seen.  This isn’t just a simple movie. This is something worse. This is woke propaganda and it’s being marketed directly to children, young girls especially.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas saw the movie nine times. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “This is Chinese propaganda wrapped in feminist wokism with Barbie getting a makeover pushing an agenda that all girls can be pretty and be whatever they want to be. It’s woke feminist garbage!”

Barbie publicist Joseph Barron of Barron & Batt don’t get the controversy. “It’s literally just a movie, a movie for girls who grew up with Barbie, these people are weird.”  That’s an understatement. Grown men going to see a kids movie whose target audience is of the female variety.

Many conservative talkers who saw the movie were incensed at what they saw. Ben Shapiro, who may reach 5 foot tall if he wears the right shoes burned Barbie dolls, going on a 45 minute rant and how woke it was and also complaining that 8 year olds made him feel small.

Charlie Kirk, who’s a very vocal Christian conservative, was angry about sexualization. “Barbie looked to be anatomically correct, and we all know, at least those of us who stole our sisters’ Barbie dolls, that is simply not true.”  Charlie has a lot of issues.

But many states that are governed by conservatives are looking to ban the movie or changing the rating so children can’t see it. They will cancel Barbie because Barbie makes them feel uncomfortable, especially Florida governor Ron DeSantis, who stole Barbie’s boot look. Too much woke. God bless America.
