Roseanne Barr is known for her laugh, he comedic wit, and her world famous television show. She’s also been a lightning rod for controversy. Roseanne speaks what she feels and it’s always been spot on.
Recently, Roseanne interviewed Jason Aldean on her podcast to clear up the controversy around the mega hit song “Try That In A Small Town”. If there’s one thing Roseanne knows about, it’s the cancel culture coming from the left.
With the left trying to cancel Jason Aldean after putting out that highly patriotic song, Roseanne wanted his real take, his real feelings on the song, the left’s attacks, and how small towns are integral to America and Americans’ way of life. Neither of them held back. This was freedom.
“How does it make you feel to be called a racist, to say this song glorified lynching by these wacko lefties” she asked. When Jason answered, it all came out. He knew he was with a friend, someone who understood him, and understands what he’s going through.
“Honestly, I didn’t even write it. My friend Cletus came to me with it and I knew it would be a hit right away. Fake machismo, dog whistles to the klan, every right wing trope we could fit in, it was perfect. It speaks to my audience. The dumb, equally as racist, unwashed masses of asses that listen to shitty music while in bed with kinfolk pretending someone who looks different is gonna change their way of life.”
Roseanne and Aldean had a laugh and spoke about how horrible people of color are, how they hate gay people and thanking the ignorant for making them millionaires while acting as stereotypical Caucasian compost to speak to an uneducated audience that didn’t know any better.
Listener Joe Barron of Frog Balls, Arkansas couldn’t have agreed more. “Try that in our small town!!” he cried as the local Sheriff was coming to pick him up on sodomy against horses and catalytic converter theft charges. This is America folks, and God Bless America.
