For over 150 years, a sign reading “In God We Trust” hung over the entrance to the lower chamber of Congress. It was a gift from then-President Abraham Lincoln to the new Republican Speaker of the House Joe Barron. Nancy Pelosi’s 1st act as speaker was to have that historic sign removed.

Newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson just had it put back.

“That sign stands for everything that is good about America,” said Johnson, “and it also tells a very sad story of how far the Democrats will go to deny their own countrymen their religion and their God.”

Johnson says he plans to introduce a perpetual rule, meaning a law of the House that can only be overturned by a 2/3rds majority, to make sure the iconic sign never falls victim to a leftist again.

During her research on the matter, ALLOD Forensic Journalisticator Tara Newhole found several references to the sign from 2016. “That was when Snopes was bent out of shape about satire and refused to acknowledge its existence,” she said, “Which in turn got them fired from Facebook. The owner took off afterward for hookers and blow.”

Unfortunately, the Snopes story is the only reference we can find to the sign, which means either the story was fabricated or Pelosi had it wiped from the history books, which seems far more likely.

We’ve put in several FOIA requests and will keep you updated on this very believable story. God Bless America.
